Suryavamshi Solar Projects LLP

3 kW solar system for Kerala homes.

The most popular size for Kerala homes, and the smallest system that gets the full ₹78,000 subsidy. These figures come from our standard 3 kW proposal.

Panels6 × 550 Wp Mono PERC or bifacial DCR panels (Adani, Waaree or Vikram)
Inverter3 kW on-grid inverter with online monitoring (Solis, Growatt or Polycab)
Roof areaAbout 300 sq.ft, flat or sloped, panels tilted 10 to 12° facing south
Generation, clear day12 to 15 units a day
Generation, year-round averageAbout 11 to 12 units a day, around 350 units a month
Indicative price₹2,05,000 for design, supply, installation and commissioning
PM Surya Ghar subsidy₹78,000 back to your bank, so about ₹1,27,000 after subsidy
TimelineMaterials within 7 days of the advance, installation within 7 to 15 days of delivery, and commissioning within 10 days of installation and KSEB approval

Clear-day figures are from our proposals and depend on the site. The year-round average uses the same Kerala assumptions as our solar calculator and includes the monsoon months. Your roof's direction, tilt and shade change the real numbers, which we measure on the free site visit.

What is the price of a 3 kW solar system in Kerala?
Our indicative price is ₹2,05,000 for design, supply, installation and commissioning, before the ₹78,000 PM Surya Ghar subsidy. KSEB fees are extra. The final price depends on your roof type and site.
How many units does a 3 kW solar system produce?
12 to 15 units on a clear day, and about 11 to 12 units a day averaged across the year including the monsoon, which is around 350 units a month.
How much roof space does a 3 kW system need?
About 300 sq.ft of shade-free roof for 6 panels. Flat and sloped roofs both work, and the mounting is designed for your roof.
How much subsidy do I get for 3 kW?
₹78,000 under PM Surya Ghar, the maximum for a home, because the system uses DCR panels. It is paid into your bank account after KSEB fits the net meter. See how the subsidy works.
What warranty do I get?
A 5-year system warranty from us, a 25-year performance warranty on the panels (at least 90% output at 10 years and 80% at 25 years), and the inverter maker's warranty, usually 5 to 10 years.
