Local installer

A Cherthala solar company, not a call centre.

Suryavamshi Solar is based at Door No. 414, Chithira, Muttathiparamb P.O, Cherthala 688527. When you book a site assessment, the engineer who visits is from our own team, and the same team does the installation and the after-sales service.

Cherthala sits between the sea and Vembanad Lake, so roofs here face salt air, high humidity and heavy monsoon rain. We plan every system for that: corrosion-resistant mounting, sealed junction boxes, chemical earthing and a lightning arrester as standard.

Being close also means faster service. If your generation drops or an inverter shows an error, we can be on your roof the same week, not after a long wait for an engineer from another district.

What you get

Everything from site visit to net meter.

Sized from your KSEB bill

Most Kerala homes using 300 to 450 units a month need a 3 kW to 4 kW on-grid plant. Our solar calculator sizes yours from your bill.

KSEB paperwork handled

We check your transformer headroom, file the application, and stay with it until the net meter is fitted. See the KSEB feasibility guide.

₹78,000 subsidy filed for you

We file the PM Surya Ghar application so the central subsidy goes straight to your bank account. Read the subsidy guide.

How it works

From first call to free power.

  1. Free site visit. We check your roof, shade from coconut trees and nearby buildings, and your KSEB connection.
  2. Design and quote. You get a clear quote with panel and inverter brands, system size and expected savings.
  3. KSEB application. We check transformer headroom and file the feasibility and net-metering application.
  4. Installation. Our own team installs the system in 1 to 2 days, with earthing and surge protection.
  5. Net meter and subsidy. KSEB inspects and fits the net meter, and we file your PM Surya Ghar subsidy claim.
Questions we hear in Cherthala

Frequently asked questions.

Still unsure? Call +91 9061626868 and talk to an engineer directly.

Do you install solar panels in Cherthala?
Yes. Cherthala is our home base, and our office is at Muttathiparamb. We install rooftop solar across Cherthala town and nearby places such as Arookutty, Thuravoor, Pattanakkad, Kanjikuzhy, Muhamma, Vayalar and Mararikulam.
Does salt air near the coast damage solar panels?
Salt air mostly attacks the metal parts, not the glass. We use corrosion-resistant coated mounting structures and stainless fasteners, and seal the junction boxes, so systems near the Cherthala coast last.
What size solar system does a Cherthala home need?
Most homes using 300 to 450 units a month need a 3 kW to 4 kW system. Enter your KSEB bill in our solar calculator for your exact size.
How much subsidy can I get for rooftop solar?
Under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, homes get ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the third kW, so a 3 kW or larger system gets the maximum ₹78,000. We file the application and the amount is paid straight into your bank account. Read the full subsidy guide.
How long does installation take?
Fitting a 3 kW to 5 kW home system takes 1 to 2 days on the roof. The whole process, including KSEB feasibility, inspection and fitting the net meter, usually takes 15 to 25 days.
